You can now upload your NFTs for free on Rarible via lazy minting !
Rarible has announced a new feature which will let you upload your NFTs for free and it will be paid later , after it has been been purchased.
How to upload an NFT for free on Rarible ?
Well ,before this feature there would be a cost of minting NFTs to Rarible. But now it will be only minted when it is purchased.
The steps are simple create a MetaMask account .I have already written an article about it here.
After setting up your wallet and securing it, you can connect it to Rarible. Just visit the site and click on Sign In button and it will ask you to connect your wallet.
After signing in with the wallet you will prompted to a screen to create your NFT. My picture is ready for the NFT. This is the image I will be using for NFT.
Remember to enable free minting option on.As your NFT will be minted once the it is purchased not before that. It can save you costs if your NFT is not sold.
Fill the details according to your needs carefully.
MetaMask will now ask again for sign in and you have to give them a go ahead.
That’s it you won’t have to pay now and your NFT will be listed as same as other NFTs with no other difference. You can see my NFT here and place a bid.
In my opinion, this is a really smart move by Rarible it would allow many users to adopt this technology and move further.
