How to set up your MetaMask wallet for NFTs and crypto?

We need wallets to store our cryptos and precious kittes or whatever stuff you are buying in the form of NFT.

Step 1

Download the MetaMask browser extension.You will have to use chrome browser for this.You can also download on your mobile app it is available on both ios and android.

After that you have to set up a password for your wallet.Remember to use a strong password or you might loose your funds and NFTs.You can use this to check your password strength. https://www.passwordmonster.com

After the password MetaMask will give you a secret key or pass phrase.

Note it down right now.The Secret Recovery Phrase is only for your eyes.Write it down on a piece of paper or store it on a offline medium.

You have successfully created a wallet!This is how it will look like.

You can buy Ethereum by clicking the buy button and pay with debit card.

You can also send funds to other addresses by just typing the address and transferring them .

Once you you have own an NFT it will appear under collectibles.The web version does not support seeing viewing NFT but the mobile version does, well sometimes.Please remember that that file would not be shown on web version only the transaction of the NFT would be shown.You can verify the transaction through the respective portal where you brought the NFT from.
