What is Metaverse ?

Metaverse is a concept of a persistent,online,3D ,virtual universe that combines multiple different elements and virtual spaces. It is thought as a new version of internet.In simpler words, it is a place where we can meet, shop,earn and play and do nearly anything we do in our everyday life.

Metaverse does not exist right now but only some attributes of it in different ways exist today. Think of it as world where we can meet,shop,earn and play.The internet we have today is considered interactive but not as much as metaverse.We can only video chat, text chat and share our photos and that is the limit of it right now.With metaverse we can socialize with our friends across the globe virtually ,own houses,arts pieces and other useful stuff and share many experiences together,it is much more interactive than the internet we have today.
We can can meet our friends in metaverse in forms of avatars and then play games and have unlimited possibilities.
We can have our houses, castles and areas also not to forget collectibles of any form and kind.We could have a cricket match and then go for shooting game with crazy interactive levels.
Metaverse development is not only focused on entertainment or leisure area.
Microsoft is working on an enterprise solution to involving metaverse.Where we might be able to attend our universities,office meetings and in future who knows,we might not be required at all to get their at work physically.Metaverse is not considered an alternative to internet but a new version of Internet.

We will be able to access Metaverse most likely with the help VR based technologies.
Facebook’s Oculus Quest 2 headset and wrist-based technology is a good start for entering into metaverse.
