Every now and then new marketplaces for NFTs are coming up that is why I decided to list authentic ones and weigh them according to their features and user experience.
1.OpenSea
The largest marketplace and with peer to peer technology is OpenSea.It has various features and offers many different types of NFTs,game items, artworks, music,GIFs and more.As for the user expereince it is quite simple.It is as easy as doing normal tasks online.OpenSea currently has 257.65k users on their platform.
2.Rarible
Rarible is marketplaces allows you to buy and sell any type of art ranging from photography ,music,domains,Defi, games and metaverses.The marketplace is relatively new.Also it is quite friendly and easy to use .Rarible aims to be (DAO) that would be totally autonomous and decentralized.Rarible is built on ETH and is has currently 6.32k users on the platform.
3.SuperRare
SuperRare was established in 2018.Superare is Ethereum based for rare digital art piece.Superare is really an executive platform that markets itself as for only premium users.SuperRare is invite only as SuperRare wants to display high quality work to only premium user. SuperRare aslo has features of built in royalties and buyers pay for three percent fee on all purchases.Also it wants to keep a balance between active collectors and artist.SuperRare has a total of 953 users at the time of writing.
4.Larva Labs/CryptoPunks
One of the earliest NFT is a list 10,000 randomly generated unique characters.They could be brought almost for free but when they got attention ,as usual it was too late to grab one.Thier price sky rocketed.You can get those NFTS at LarvaLabs.CryptoPunks has a staggering market cap of 4.47 billion USD.
5. Axie Marketplace
Axie Infinity is is an NFT powered video game and it hosts NFTs on Axie Marketplace.It is the undisputed king of blockchain based gaming. It has 2.83 billion USD volume.Unlike other art based NFT marketplaces it has a complex user interface and barrier for entry.To make your own NFT on Axie Infinity you will have to get three creatures from the marketplace.Many people have left their well paying professions and started play this game to earn money. Axie Infinity is also Ethereum based.
6.NBA Top Shot Marketplace
It is basically a set of digital trading cards featuring NBA video highlight clips.Just NBA cards but digital and more advanced.Buying process on NBA Top Shot Marketplace is pretty simple and it let’s you connect with google and your phone number and even pay with credit card.It has 720.75M USD problem with 468,437 traders.
7.KnownOrigin
KnownOrigin has a pretty small marketplace but due to it’s quality and unique market is deserves to be on the list.It has only 6.9 million.You will not be finding broken monsters and avatars on this site.They are dedicated to keep their image in the market as a classical gallery.It has a volume of 399.38 K USD and 346 all time users.

8.Foundation
Foundation is also a famous marketplace where Nyan Cat,Edward Snowden’s first NFT was sold.It has 15 Percent fee and is invite only and not truly decentralized also it takes 10 percent of artist royalties.It has 60.05 million USD volume and 10.60 k users.Foundation is based on Ethereum.
9.Nifty Gateway
Nifty Gateway is a centralized platform that even let’s you buy NFTs from USD.The platform has it’s own wallet and after buying you can take the NFT in your own wallet.It has recently partnered with popular NFT collections for secondary market trading.
10. AsyncArt
Async art allows it’s users to create,collect programmable art.The NFT can evolve over time and react to its owners, opening many possibilities.The system features a unique one-of-one interface through which collectors who buy NFTs on the marketplace can update the artwork through a system of ‘layers,’ which then affects the original ‘master’ created by the artist.It has a volume of 479.83 K USD and 239 users and is based on Ethereum.
